About Jason Hopkins

Jason Hopkins is also known for being Head of Creative at Wordery, or Creative Director for Inspiro. Jason has worked at some of the leading creative and digital agencies accross London, Cardiff, Oxfordshire and Berkshire and has worked client side with some of the world’s biggest brands, he has even ran his own design agency.

 

Having racked up over 17 years of experience, Jason's knowledge and expertise includes branding, brochures, packaging, magazine design, direct mail and integrated advertising campaigns, however, since 2007, Jason has specialised in user experience and user interface design. Jason has been lucky enough to work on many exciting projects and has designed interfaces for pretty much all devices/contexts imaginable. This has given him a very broad understanding of what makes a great experience and the importance of validating these interfaces with users.

  My proudest achievements include becoming an elected associate member of the pristegious D&AD and having work published in a Superbrands book.  

Jason is an inspired ideas person with an unwavering creative passion for art, design, typography, photography and Illustration. He has an insatiable curiosity with a lust for knowledge about all things related to the creative industry. Switched on, Jason is focused and solutions-driven, with the knowledge and experience to support different ‘creative types’, understanding that different people have varied ways of working. He uses different approaches to get the best work out of the team.

Regognising that, whilst being creative requires varying degrees of freedom, being lost-in-thought, tweed jackets and dramatic hand-waving, a well-thought-out process and structure works wonders. He enjoys crafting and amending his processes until he's got what resembles an assembly line of fantastic creative solutions being pumped out by his team of creatives.
